2008 Understanding Organics and Grazing
Livestock Management and Health
Holiday Inn, Auburn, NY
October 28-30, 2008
NOFA Vermont, in partnership with Quality Milk Production Services (QMPS) of Cornell University, was pleased to host the second annual conference designed to educate extension personnel, veterinarians, nutritionists, and other professionals working with organic or transitioning livestock producers.
The conference, funded in part through a Northeast Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Program (NESARE), provided opportunities to develop a basic foundation in organic livestock production or expand on existing knowledge for the experienced participant.
These events qualified for Continuing Education Credit/Professional Development Units and provided a classroom style learning, interactive problem solving and networking opportunities.
Below are links to relevant conference materials; including handouts and PowerPoints from the conference.
