Winter Conference: Children's Conference

Make the NOFA-VT Winter Conference a family affair! Parents and guardians attending the conference are welcome to register their children ages 5-10 for all-day activities on Saturday, February 18. The Children’s Conference takes place at the Aiken Center (right next door to the Davis Center) at the same time as the main conference. The cost of registration is on a sliding scale, $0-100 with a suggested rate of $50 per child. If you’re able, paying more than the suggested rates will help support the registration fees for someone else. Lunch is available for purchase at $12. Please note, space is limited.

Activities

Programming will focus on farm and nature-themed topics and will include a range of engaging activities, like a bird walk around campus, an art project, fiber fun, growing microgreens, cooking, and more.

Food

A morning and afternoon snack will be provided. Lunch is available for purchase at $12 for those enrolled in the children’s conference. With this option, parents will pick up and drop off their child(ren) to dine together at the main conference in the Davis Center. Or, please note at registration if you prefer to pack a lunch for your child and have them stay at their conference in the Aiken Center through lunchtime.

As with the rest of the conference, free registration is offered to BIPOC and farming families.
