There are many ways to give to support NOFA-VT:
Donations from your IRA or IRA Rollover are a great way to support NOFA-VT while reducing your taxable income. If you are over 70½, you can make a Qualified Charitable Contribution (and if you are over 73, these count toward your Required Minimum Distribution). Procedures vary depending on the firm that holds your IRA account. You may donate up to $108,000 to NOFA-VT from your IRA or 401k account without it being counted as taxable income.
You will likely need NOFA-VT’s Tax ID number, 22-3260420, and our address: PO Box 697, 14 Pleasant St., Richmond, VT 05477. Please let us know if you have any questions or need other information.
