The Center for an Agricultural Economy seeks a Food Hub Delivery Driver for Farm Connex, a CAE Enterprise providing food product delivery across Vermont. This is a critical position for the aggregation, organization, and delivery of farm products to market destinations. Highlights of this job include:
-Safely operating light and medium-duty refrigerated vehicles
-Filling and delivering orders in a safe and appropriate manner
-Maintaining reliable and accurate delivery records and vehicle status reports
-Exercising basic food safety and handling guidelines
P-roviding excellent customer service to our producers and their accounts
Position: Food Hub Delivery Driver
Reports to: Farm Connex General Manager
Schedule: Part to Full-time, 25-40 hours per week, weekend, nights or early mornings
Hourly Compensation: *Starting at $20.00+ per hour, plus CAE’s benefits package
*Negotiable based on driving experience; CDL certification starting higher.
Work site: This is an exclusively in-person position with warehouse headquarters based out of Hardwick, VT. Delivery routes span throughout most of the state of Vermont and adjacent areas in New Hampshire and require early morning and/or late evening hours.
