Take a stroll through the orchards at the beginning of apple season with Christiana and Barney Hodges. Learn what it means to grow apples organically, what the Eco Apple program is all about, some tips and tricks from years of experience, and do an apple tasting. Every growing season is different, in terms of weather, pests, and fungal disease. Hear how they steward the land, inspect leaves, read the trees, encourage pollinators, and care for the soil, water, and workers. Sunrise Orchards has a pick-your-own operation, farm stand, and grows for wholesale accounts. Apple lovers and growers of all levels are welcome.

Online registration has closed, but walk-ins welcome! You can sign-up onsite.
