Name an experience that changed the course of your life
Venturing to North Carolina and working on a small farm for a week. It was something that I will always remember as I learned so much in such a short period of time. It is amazing how much wisdom is held by people who have decided to immerse themselves fully in "farm life" and to nurture the land while nurturing themselves and their families and communities. I had never traveled and worked on a farm away from home before this and it was rad yet a bit nerve-wrecking as it was a completely new experience! So awesome to take that time and space to grow and learn

3 Skills
Hardworking, through much time spent working on a farm with horses and gardens. Great team worker, through working with various kinds of people in many different environments. Knowledgeable in herbs and some permaculture, acquired through self study and workshops. All of these greatly apply to the farm experience as they are all skills that contribute to a positive environment and one that invites more learning and creativity as well. Withhardwork, anything can be accomplished with a can-do mindset; being a great team worker leads to a beautiful work environment and conscious though and action cultivates; knowledge of herbs and permaculture (although still in beginning stages) opens space for sharing and invites greater learning as well. As we all bring a wide range of skills, amazing experiences blossom!
What do you hope to take away from an experience working on an organic farm?
I would love to acquire knowledge of soil composition, cultivation timing, and greater knowledge of farming practices overall
