Chicken Coop School – ELA Teacher & Program Co-Facilitator (Full Time Year Round)
We are looking for a creative and caring educator to join our middle school teaching team at the Chicken Coop School beginning in the ‘26-27 academic year. This talented teacher would lead our reading and writing classes and partner with the other full-time teacher to foster a supportive and engaging environment for our small class of 7th and 8th grade students. We focus on community, academic curiosity, and connection to the land. This is a special opportunity for an experienced teacher who is excited to learn about our unique program and to bring their own interests and expertise. This role additionally functions as a program facilitator and administrator.
In addition to being a part of our one-room school, teachers at the Coop are a part of the larger, vibrant community of the Farm School. This is a job like no other! We are looking for a teacher who is experienced with non-traditional school environments and has an interest in incorporating the farm into their work.
