Join us at VTSU CAFE for a two-day Maple Flavor & Grading training in Randolph VT, led by Henry Marckres, a local maple legend! Learn to assess and grade maple syrup based on color, clarity, density, and flavor using industry-standard tools and grading kits. Participants will practice taste testing and quality evaluation to ensure top-quality, market-ready syrup.

This workshop also includes visits to Silloway Maple and CDA Maple in Randolph, offering a behind-the-scenes look at maple production in the Randolph area!

This training is valuable for anyone involved in maple syrup production or grading, ensuring high-quality, market-ready products. 

When? 3/15-3/16

Where? The Red School House at the VTSU Randolph Campus, Randolph Center, VT

How much? $400 for two days of hands-on training. We accept VSAC Advancement Grants and AmeriCorps Segal funds, as well!
