Join White River Natural Resources Conservation District for a visionary conversation with Rep. Greg Burtt, farmer and current member of the VT House Committee on Agriculture, Food Resiliency, and Forestry; Amanda Janoo, economist and democratic gubernatorial candidate; Roger Allbee, former VT Secretary of Agriculture; Neil Ryan, third-generation VT farmer from Corinth; and Michael Fernandez, Bennington farmer and Conservation District Director, facilitated by Jennifer Byrne, White River NRCD Director. Governor Phil Scott has also been invited but has not confirmed his participation.
The panel will explore what it could mean to plan for healthy watersheds, working lands, housing, and strong communities together.
This is an informational community event, not a campaign event. All views and opinions shared by panelists are not necessarily the views and opinions of the Board of the White River NRCD. View previous Dirt & Democracy events here.
