Through the easy-to-use Bumper Crop program from the Northeast Organic Farming Association of Vermont (NOFA-VT), Vermont workplaces can provide gift vouchers to employees to buy fresh food at farmers markets. By providing Bumper Crop to employees, workplaces will:

promote healthy, local food
support their local economies
show appreciation for employees

How It Works

1. Give Out Vouchers

NOFA-VT will deliver printed $5 vouchers that you can distribute as you see fit. Your organization’s vouchers will have a unique code so NOFA-VT can track how many are redeemed.

2. Shop!

Your employees can use the vouchers at any participating farmers market (there are ~20 to choose from!), on any food items excluding hot prepared food and alcohol.

3. Support Local Markets

We will bill you for the vouchers redeemed at markets each quarter, plus the cost of printing and a 5% administrative fee. Every dollar you spend supports your employees’ wellness and the vitality of local farms.
