We are seeking a farm sitter for 3-5 day stretches on our diversified farm in Grand Isle, VT with the first dates for hire late July.
Daily tasks include providing water/food for a tiny flock (two chickens and two ducks) and an outdoor cat. Crops will also need to be watered and berries harvested daily during the growing season. These could be completed within around 4 hours/day leaving you the rest of the time to enjoy the area (we are a 4-minute drive to the lakeshore for swimming and central to many Island points of interest). You are welcome to stay at our home or come by twice a day (AM/PM) if that is preferable.
Daily compensation DOE (e.g., open to hiring on for additional farm tasks, too).
