Lazy Dog Farm is a progressive, certified organic dairy in Orwell, Vermont, where thoughtful management, strong animal genetics, and a deep respect for land and livestock create an efficient and rewarding place to work. Our 50 cow herd is bred for both high production and excellent type and has been rotationally grazed for over 15 years, reflecting our strong foundation in pasture management, animal nutrition, and forage production. We produce our own high quality hay to support herd health and milk quality, and manage 470 acres of hayland, intensively grazed pasture, and conserved wildlife habitat with a focus on sustainability, precision, and continuous improvement.
