Breadseed Farm is in our sixth year of business in Craftsbury, VT. We are looking to hire two farmers to join our team in operating our successful one acre market garden.
As part of our team you will be involved in all aspects of our farm, and will be trained on the following; harvest, wash/pack, cultivation, high tunnel management, cut flower production and arranging, greenhouse seeding, irrigation, and farmers markets. At the start of the season, you will be provided with a field map, greenhouse, crop plan and any information about the farm business you are interested in.
This is a great job for any one interested in learning the ins and outs of a small scale diversified vegetable and flower farm. You will be working alongside farm managers and owners, Kayleigh and Doug who each have almost twenty years of experience training and educating staff and volunteers in all aspects of market gardening.
