Looking for a fun, active outdoor job this summer? The Burlington Summer Farmers Market is hiring dependable, enthusiastic staff to help create a welcoming and organized market experience for vendors and visitors.
Position Details
- Season: May 9 – October 31, 2026 (Saturdays only)
- Hours: ~8 hours/week (6:00 or 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
- Pay: $18/hour
- Bonus: $200–$400 end-of-season bonus for strong attendance (22+ market days)
What You’ll Do
- Set up and break down market equipment and vendor spaces
- Keep the market clean, safe, and organized
- Provide friendly customer service and assist vendors
- Sell market merchandise and handle transactions (including SNAP/Crop Cash)
- Use EBT and Square systems
- Support overall market operations with the team
What We’re Looking For
- Availability most Saturdays during the season
- Ability to lift and perform physical tasks outdoors in all weather
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, organized, and team-oriented attitude
