Diggers' Mirth Collective Farm is looking to hire an experienced person for our farm crew for the 2023 season. We are a 15 acre collectively owned and operated organic vegetable farm located in the Intervale in Burlington. We care deeply about social justice, food access, Beyonce, and the Old North End community where we live and work. We enjoy each other and love what we do and are looking for an industrious, fun person to round out the team.
Tasks include harvesting, hand weeding, wash/pack, transplanting, deliveries, tarping, possible farmer's market assistance, and other general farm projects. We are looking for someone who is hardworking, a fast learner with an eye for accuracy and efficiency, a good sense of humor and at least two years of mid-sized production farm experience. Strong candidates with other relevant experience in fast paced and/or manual labor fields will be considered.
This position is M-TH 7:30-4:30ish and runs from late May through mid-November. Wage is $15-$17, depending on experience.
