We are looking for candidates to assist in the groundskeeping throughout a rural, privately owned estate in the Addison County area. The right candidate will assist the Property Managers and farm team in overall property maintenance such as mowing/string trimming, brush clearing, trail upkeep and gardening tasks throughout the large estate. The estate consists of fruiting orchards, fine perennial gardens, meadows, hiking/ATV trails and more.
Schedule
Full-time seasonal position, with the potential to transition to year-round employment for the right candidate.

- Has experience operating tractors, mowers, trimmers, and other outdoor equipment
- Understands the importance of discretion when working on a private property
- Is dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn
Responsibilities
- Maintain grounds: mowing, trimming, gardening, landscaping, and seasonal readiness
- Operate and maintain vehicles, tractors, and equipment
- Monitor and maintain woodland areas, trails, and roadways
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in the agriculture and/or landscape industries
- Willingness to work in all types of weather (heat, rain, cold)
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to work independently and as a team, as well as stay motivated and work efficiently
- Experience and comfortability using various types of equipment and machines safely and efficiently
- Ability to communicate effectively and have a positive, team player attitude
- Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to a rural location in Addison County
