River Berry Farm is looking for 2 to 3 people to join our fall crew. Positions are available starting immediately. River Berry Farm has been farming organically wholesale vegetables and Fruits for 35 years. We are located in Fairfax, VT, 35 min. drive from Burlington. Most of our crew commutes from Burlington. We work 7:30 to 4 M-F. The day is set up with a break at 10 am where we provide coffee, tea and homemade bread every day. 30 min. lunch at 1 and then work till 4. We make it a point to finish at 4.
The work will mainly consist of harvesting , hoeing, weeding and more harvesting. We sell our produce through City Market, Healthy Living, various restaurants and a bulk of the produce is sold through our Marketing Coop (Deep Root Organic Truck Farmers Coop).
While we work hard, we try to teach crew while we are working Its a great way to learn. We have taught at UVM in Plant and Soil Science. Benefits include endless produce. Come Join our great crew.
