ISO Ford 8N w/ bad engine

The draft animal power network is looking for a ford 8N for an educational workshop as part of the 2026 field days at Shelburne Farms in October. 

The plan is to hold a workshop on converting a ford 8N to a horse or ox-powered PTO forecart— something that can spin a PTO shaft driven by the wheels of the tractor moving over the ground—no fossil fuels involved. 

Our ideal tractor would have a bad engine but good tires and would come as a donation to Dap-Net (501c3 tax deductible). We’re also open to purchasing a tractor that fits this description if needed.
