Diggers' Mirth Collective Farm is looking to hire one person for our stand at the Burlington Farmers Market for summer/fall 2024. This is a part-time position, Saturdays only. The Burlington Farmers Market is busy, fast-paced and fun.

The position involves arriving at our cooler at 6am to load up, driving a box truck to the farmers market, setting up the stand, interacting with customers, handling money, packing up after market and putting everything back at the cooler. It's a long day, fairly busy with some lulls, with a paid lunch break (and access to so much great food made by other vendors who are excited to trade you lunch for vegetables!). Loading/unloading at the cooler and the majority of set-up will happen solo, but there are always two people working the stand and packing up. You'll be working with one of the Diggers every market.

This position requires a driver's license, some heavy lifting, and quick mental math.

This position is every Saturday from June 8 - October 28, 6am-4pm with three Saturdays off during the season.

Pay is $18/hour, plus free vegetables and tons of sweet trades. Plus you get to hang out with us and we're so fun! If interested, please email us at diggersmirthcollectivefarm@gmail.com and tell us a little about yourself, any relevant experience or skills, and why you'd like the job.
