Looking for 1 awesome new housemate to share a 3 bedroom farmhouse in Hinesburg starting July 1st, for a 4 month sublease. Perfect for anyone doing seasonal work in the area and looking for affordable housing!
The house has two comfortable/spacious (!) living rooms, a big kitchen with new dishwasher, a dining room, a pantry, a washer and dryer, 1 bathroom, and a large outdoor space with space for bonfires & such. Awesome location: short walk to Hinesburg Area Recreation Trails, Trillium Hill Farm, Lantman’s Market, and 25 minute drive to Burlington or Bristol.
The available bedroom comes unfurnished and measures 13.5’ 11.5' including a closet. Rather, there is space just outside the room that is dedicated as a storage area for that bedroom. There is more storage in a rustic garage which is good for bikes, boats, & other gear.
FYI, the bedroom(s) and bathroom are located upstairs.
Existing housemates are two 20-something farmers. Things each or both of us like: spending time outside, making yummy food, soil health, having fun with friends, reading, yoga, biking, hiking, laughing, SNL, world peace, creativity, music, plants, tea… We are a social household but also turn in & rise early, so we are mindful of sharing space respectfully. We prioritize maintaining good vibes and clear communication at home & look forward to sharing this space with someone else who is positive, respectful of each other and household shared items, friendly, environmentally responsible, conversational, and c.l.e.a.n.s up after themself and helps out around the house/follows the chore chart :)
Must be about composting, recycling, conserving heat/water/electricity, and being LGBTQIA+ friendly and otherwise inclusive.
Must have a history of paying rent on time.
Sorry, no 420, no smoking/vaping, no drugs, no undergraduates, nor pets.
Unless the landlord increases the rent (which is possible), rent is $667 per month plus utilities (average utilities last year were ~$80/month per person + $250 for heat throughout winter per person). Plus a security deposit of $667.
