Do you have a passion for helping food insecure community members access fresh and nourishing foods? We are seeking a temporary leader for our small (but mighty!) food shelf and thrift store, while the current ED is on maternity leave. The interim Executive Director will be hired to cover maternity leave starting late October 2026 for 8 months until July 2027. The interim Executive Director will oversee food shelf and thrift store duties, administrative tasks, volunteer management, and development to ensure the organization runs smoothly. They report to the Board of Directors.
- Position is an 8 month 24 hour/week position from the end of October 2026 until July 2027.
Semi-flexible hybrid work schedule - expectation to physically be present during open hours of the store and food shelf, as well as food order pick ups on Thursdays and some Tuesday mornings.
Reliable car needed, with mileage reimbursement from RFS.
Simple IRA Available with 3% matching.
Pay range: $25–$28 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
