Come learn how to weld at VTSU-Randolph in this two-day hands-on training on Feb 21st-22nd! This hands-on welding training focuses on the real-world skills you need to fix, build, and maintain equipment on the land. You’ll learn essential welding safety and fundamentals.

The course covers MIG, STICK, and TIG welding- with a hope that it will support practical farm and homestead applications—repairing gates, brackets, tools, and small equipment. You’ll learn how different metals behave, how to properly set up tanks and machines, how to recognize a strong, reliable weld, and how to safely use a plasma cutter.

No prior welding experience is needed!

We accept VSAC Advancement Grants and AmeriCorps Segal Education Awards, reach out to [email protected] for more information.
