Details

Join grazing consultant and educator Sarah Flack and the Corse Farm Dairy team for a pasture walk focused on advanced grazing management. Learn practical strategies for improving pasture productivity and forage quality, building soil health, identifying plants, and managing pastures through challenging weather conditions. Attendees will also hear about the Dairy Grazing Apprenticeship program from mentor Leon Corse, DGA graduate MacKenzie, and current apprentice Chris. The registration fee includes lunch.

Directions to The Corse Farm - ignore GPS  this is the best route!

    

 From I-91 take exit 2 in Brattleboro take Route 9 west [17 miles] , turn left onto Route 100 south [3.5 miles], 2nd blacktop right,   Wilmington Cross Road [0.6 miles], first blacktop right Fuller Hill Road [0.6miles], Bear left at  intersection onto Corse Road.

 

       - From Bennington, VT take Route 9 east [20 miles], until about a mile past Wilmington, turn right onto route 100 south then as above   

 

       - From I-91 in Greenfield MA  take Route 2 west [Exit 26] [3.5 miles] right onto Colrain-Shelburne Road [5.5 miles], Route 112 north [12.5 miles],route 100 north in Jacksonville, VT, [at the end of 112]  [2 miles], 2nd blacktop left onto Wilmington Cross Road [0.6 miles], first blacktop right Fuller Hill Road [0.6miles], Bear left at  intersection onto Corse Road. 

 

     -From North Adams, MA take Route 8 North, which becomes Route 100 in VT. Follow through Whitingham, after you pass a large cemetery [on your right] take the next left [Corse Road] to farm
