Dirt & Democracy: A Vermont Land Use Panel
Join White River Natural Resources Conservation District and Freedom & Unity for a visionary conversation with Amanda Janoo, economist and democratic gubernatorial candidate; Greg Burtt, farmer and current member of the VT House Committee on Agriculture, Food Resiliency, and Forestry; Michael Fernandez, Bennington farmer and Conservation District Director; Neil Ryan, third generation VT farmer from Corinth; and Roger Allbee, former VT Secretary of Agriculture; facilitated by Jennifer Byrne, White River NRCD Director. Governor Phil Scott has also been invited but has not confirmed his participation.
The panel will explore what it could mean to plan for healthy watersheds, working lands, housing, and strong communities together.
This is an informational community event, not a campaign event. All views and opinions shared by panelists are not necessarily the views and opinions of the Board of the White River NRCD or Freedom & Unity. View previous Dirt & Democracy events here.
