Fledge Fest is an all-ages, community-minded, music and arts event. Our mission is to nurture community vibrancy through live music, the arts, and local food at an affordable price. This is the 4th year that the farmers and inhabitants of Fledgling Farmstead have organized and hosted this event. We are also a fundraiser! A portion of this year's proceeds will be donated to NOFA-VT's Farmer Emergency Fund, as well as Fledgling Farmstead's 2026 CSA Subsidy Fund.

Friday, August 22 is a FREE community event with a potluck dinner featuring a farm-raised lamb roast and hands-on arepa making sponsored by Moon and Stars. At dusk, we will show several shorts from the film project, Campfire Stories. Following the film screening, local naturalist Cheryl Metcalf will guide us in a nocturnal moth exploration. Gates open at 4pm, arepa-making starts at 5pm, and potluck at 6pm. Please bring a dish to share and your own plates/silverware. BYOB. Onsite camping available.

Saturday, August 23 is a TICKETED event. Gates open at 11am. Workshops offered by local herbalist, Betzy Bancroft and Qigong practitioner and teacher, Peter Payne. Music and food trucks from 2:30pm into the evening, followed by fire spinning, projector art, and late-night DJ. Ongoing activities throughout the day include the Climate Farmer Stories exhibit, Bread and Puppet art and other immersive installations, art with Rural Vermont, and children's play forest and story walk.
