From award-winning documentarian Lesley Chilcott, a fascinating portrait of a man putting his life at risk in a relentless quest to protect the oceans and marine life. WATSON blends revealing contemporary interviews with Sea Shepherd's Captain Paul Watson, archival clips of dramatic encounters, and spectacular underwater nature footage. The film portrays Sea Shepherd Conservation Society founder; Paul Watson and his lifelong dedication to sailing the globe keeping our oceans and oceanic inhabitants safe.

Join Sustainable Woodstock for a live Q&A with Captain Paul Watson, marine wildlife conservation and environmental activist. Watson was one of the founding members and directors of Greenpeace. In 1977, he left Greenpeace and founded the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, a nonprofit dedicated to protecting and conserving the world’s oceans and marine wildlife. In 2022, Captain Paul Watson continues his fight for marine wildlife conservation with the new Captain Paul Watson Foundation, which carries on Captain Paul Watson’s effective agenda to defend life in the sea through a unique strategy of aggressive non-violence and intervention against illegal operations exploiting life in the sea.

This Q&A follows a free screening of the film “Watson,” which features Paul Watson and his lifelong dedication to sailing the globe keeping our oceans and oceanic inhabitants safe.
