Due to a significant increase in demand, we are seeking to restructure NOFA-VT's Farm Share Program application review process to ensure that folks experiencing the most significant barriers can access the program.

For the past 30 years, the program has reviewed applications on a first-come, first-served basis. Moving forward, we'd like to form a committee to collaboratively propose a new application review process for the program.

Our goal is to convene a broad group of community stakeholders consisting of farmers, Farm Share participants, people who have applied but have not been able to participate, and direct service providers to collaboratively propose a new application review process for the program.

If you are interested in shaping the structure of the Farm Share Program, please join us for an initial information session where we will share background on the program and the scope of the committee.

If you know any community members or organizations that may be interested, we encourage you to invite them as well!

We will be hosting two information sessions on the following dates:

  • Wednesday, March 26th, 5:30-6:45 pm - South Burlington Public Library Community Room
  • Friday, March 28th, 12:00-1:30 pm - via Zoom

If you have any questions please contact Avery MacLean via email or call (802)-419-0049.
