Join Curt Hadley from FieldWatch Registries and Sydney Miller from the UVM Bee Lab to learn how to use FieldWatch mapping tools in Vermont. FieldWatch is a free-to-use online mapping platform designed to connect pesticide applicators with beekeepers and crop producers. The tool enables easy communication and collaboration between stakeholders to reduce the risk of accidental pesticide exposures to bees and sensitive crops. Crop producers will learn how to easily map crop fields using DriftWatch and alert nearby pesticide applicators of crop locations. Pesticide applicators will learn how to use the FieldWatch interface to visualize nearby crop areas or apiaries and notify neighbors of scheduled pesticide applications. Learn how Vermont agricultural stakeholders can work together to engage in ongoing stewardship activities. Eligible for 1 Vermont Pesticide Recertification Credit.
