In our typical Make and Take style, participants will leave this class with a beautiful planter they designed themselves. We have a selection of plants that will look great in the warmer late summer days and beyond the first frost. Among them are rudbeckia, ornamental grasses, hedera ivy, ornamental kale, and culinary herbs that can be harvested for hearty fall stews. You may choose to pair your planter with the traditional look of mums and pumpkins - both of which we will be selling in the Plant Shop. We recommend signing up with a friend and making it a party.

Instructor Lily Belisle is a plant lover through and through, and her garden is the place she feels most at home. The garden is filled with lessons; sharing these garden stories with others is what keeps her garden growing, changing, and blooming. She’s been working at Red Wagon Plants since 2011, playing matchmaker between plants and people.
