Movement health + wellness from an athletic perspective for those whose livelihoods rely on their body. Discussion of how athleticism fits into physical labor and what movement self-advocacy is.

Topics covered include:

overall health related to athlete well-being
learn tips on managing food, fluid, sleep, and stress
high use movement patterns: hinge, squat, and carries
ways to reduce occurrence of low back pain and injury


*Content in this workshop is similar to what is presented in in-person Movement Workshops. Given Zoom limitations, there will not be opportunity for movement practice with coaching.

While focus is directed toward agriculture, any BODY can utilize this information for any of the work you do.


COST:

Sliding scale: $15-$30

No-cost ($0) option available for workshop through Athletes in Overalls fund as long as funds are available. Cannot be applied to manual (below).
