Do you want to feel prepared to take direct action in your community? Are you unsure of what your role should be in all of this?
Join 350VT for a training on Nonviolent Direct Action with a focus on unplanned direct action needs that might emerge during a rapid response situation (for example, raids by immigration enforcement). We’ll talk about what NVDA is, why it is powerful, how to be prepared for taking this type of action, and different roles people can take (including ones that are low-risk, like jail support). All levels of experience with NVDA are welcome!
Hosted by 350VT, this training will be facilitated by Leif Taranta from the Climate Disobedience Center.
Logistics:
Date: Saturday, June 27th
Time: 10-3:30
