In June 2023, the Vermont legislature passed the Community Resilience and Biodiversity Protection Act, putting Vermont on course to protect our landscapes. A key goal is to conserve 30% of Vermont's land by 2030 and 50% by 2050. In order to develop a plan for this by 2025, the Vermont Conservation Strategy Initiative team is engaging a diverse group of stakeholders. They want to hear from you to design equitable and effective pathways to conserve and protect Vermont’s lands and waters. To make sure farmers are included, Nature for Justice and NOFA-VT are co-hosting a focus group. Please join us to learn more and share your thoughts. Participants can be compensated $75.
