Fledgling Farmstead

We are a diversified family farm operating on 190 acres of rolling pasture and forest. We are not certified organic, but we follow organic practices and strive to continually improve our vegetable and animal management practices to increase soil healthy, biodiversity, and climate resiliency. We grow about an acre of vegetables and herbs for our CSA, farm stand and farmers markets. We also manage a small flock of pastured, mixed-breed sheep, layer hens, and a herd of dual-purpose cows. Our farm features a multi-family homestead with a community-minded atmosphere. Our farm is also the home of Mountain Home Camp Sites (through Hipcamp) and of Fledge Fest, a family-friendly celebration of music, food and the arts.
