Grass Cattle Company is a first-generation regenerative livestock farm based in Charlotte, Vermont, founded in 2016 by farmer Steve Schubart. We rotationally graze 100% grass-fed cattle using soil health and regenerative agriculture principles designed to improve pasture health, build soil biology, and work in harmony with the surrounding ecosystem. Our cattle are raised on certified organic farmland and managed with frequent pasture rotations to mimic natural grazing systems
We sell our beef directly to the community through two self-serve farm stores open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m
