Do you appreciate the wispiness of grasses, the mounding greens of mosses, the complexities and colors of flowers, the delicate textures and forms of seed pods and the irregular nature of branches, twigs, and vines? Susan Lepple has a wonderful way of inspiring others to enjoy the delicate and unique details of plants and their artful arrangement. In this workshop, Susan will provide instruction on how to use natural materials to create a delicate and flowing fall garland to adorn an interior space. All materials have been grown, prepared, or collected by Susan and she is happy to answer questions on the process of growing, foraging, drying, and storing. Each participant will have enough materials to make one large garland or two small garlands. Please feel free to bring your own special materials, if you'd like. All ages are welcome, but children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult.

Susan Lepple is a member of the Red Wagon Plants retail team and an impassioned gardener, creative, and educator. She is enchanted by the fine details of botanicals and loves to create with them. She has taught people in a variety of settings to make botanical art, including formal and rustic wreaths, garlands, and offbeat homes.

We strive to make garden education accessible to everyone. For information on scholarships and discounts, please contact [email protected].
