Bright and clean efficiency apartment available in Lamoille County beginning 9/1/2026. Appliances and utilities are included. Reduced rent for part-time work/trade on a small farm. This would be a great fit for someone who has another job, but is looking to pick up approx. 15 hours a week helping out around the property. This is a year-round rental. It is a separate living space above a horse barn. Summer tasks would be helping with animal care, barn cleaning and some property upkeep. Winter tasks would include snow plowing as needed, help with animal care and loading an outdoor wood boiler in the evenings. Low-key environment. Reliability, compatibility and consistency are most important. Afternoon, evening and occasional weekend help would be most helpful.
This event, hosted by the Northeast TOPP program, supports current and aspiring organic farmers through hands-on workshops, practical technical assistance, and meaningful opportunities to connect with peers across the food and farming community.
